Actually to crush your hopes and dreams. "yaah they nerfed Ursan, o wait this is a joke, D'oh"
Man The Ursan hate is foaming over.
Nice try on joke. I read it as the proper date, April Fool's day.
On a side note there will be alot of QQ'ing if indeed they nerf it. I like it myself. It allowed me to do something I never would. I did Mallyx several times before I used Ursan. But I could never do a full run of the underboss'. I always had to do them seperate. But since I did Ursanway the other night I had plenty of time. And reap the extra reward. It does make it easier, hmmph doesn't bother me one way or another.

Well, I had hoped the Guru community would be smarter than it has so far. I posted a 'nerf' to get people to talk about ideas to change the skill. MANY people feel the skill is imbalanced. I don't think my idea is 100% perfect, and I haven't figured out a way to make it such. I had hoped people would see my idea, and expand on it, and improve on it. OR, post why it is bad, and make new suggestions that would be good. The other threads I have read on Ursan all turn into arguements, and I had hoped starting one with some humor would lessen that.
I thought wrong apparently.
I will ask 1 of 2 things at this point.
1) post ideas to change the skill in ways that will benefit the people who like it AND dislike it
2) Mod to close it before it becomes more flame/QQ/+1
Your choice all, I just wanted to try something fun AND constructive.

Such a vision from the future will undoubtedly launch a rage-quit-en-masse as never seen before in GW! I can already see the empty UW/FoW/DoA outposts
But the real question is: can we stop this alternate future from happening? Time to watch Donnie Darko again ... and please be careful about the Boeing engine that is going to land on this thread ...

I'd be content at this point that it was widely known that this skill doesn't help the game and/or that it doesn't make you a better player in the least.

MagmaRed, I don't see any reasons for change to Ursan Blessing. It's a PvE skill, there is no need to worry about balance of any sort. If people don't buy GW: EN then people can't use those Nourn skills. I've noticed Ursan allows classes that usually couldn't get into a group in the first place to have a chance to join a PvE group. Now unpopular classes like Mesmer, Paragon, Assassin, Ritualist, and Dervish have better opportunities at finding PvE groups to quest in elite areas like FoW, UW, etc.
I'm sure Ursan ruined the joy for popular PvE builds that never struggled to find groups before like fire nukers, SS, MM, and Barrage + pet, but those people need to get over it. They had their time. They can always start their own groups also. I don't even Ursan, because I don't feel like grinding for ranks. It doesn't botter me one bit that it has become the current PvE fad. It's nice seeing unpopular classes find groups for elite missions and so forth. Was getting sick of seeing the same classes in all places. I'm not bitter one bit I can't get into a Ursan group because I refuse to grind Nourn ranks. It doesn't bother me, why should it bother anyone else.

I have started to say something about what the OP's intention of "discussion without turning into an argument". But since this seems to be a joke thread, it has to stay that way.
Every song and dance have been sung and danced about the issue on both side. Too much waste of energy to go all over it again. Let ANET decide.
I respect a person's right to QQ, seriously or humorously.
More cats please.

agreed
people who failed at the game before are still failing at the game with ursan
(pretty much the people who think para's are bad and tanks are good)
people who know how to play, don't use Ursan because it isn't that good

Something I would have done, but I'd be told it was pointless.
Strange how one of my last threads made reference toward the blessings.

Keep in mind, 2broke, that it's now less "class" discrimination and more "campaign" discrimination: even if I'm a nuker do you think that UB group will let me in?
Also bear note that those Mesmers are probably still not playing the way they'd like. I doubt they rolled a caster class to hit things.
And Pyro, that doesn't excuse the fact that people are going in and kill Mallyx in under 20 seconds with horrendous etc. skills. It does, in fact, bypass a lot of skill.
